LOUISIANA resolution against #TERRORIST #CAIR! #TERROR #OBAMA
Houma Today(h/t Mike F) Rep. Barry Ivey, R-Baton Rouge, said he sponsored the resolution — which carries no force of law — because of concerns the organization and its officials have had ties to terrorist groups.
The organization, known as CAIR, has denied the claims.
All Houma-Thibodaux area representatives voted in favor of House Resolution 170. They are Beryl Amedee, R-Gray; Truck Gisclair, D-Larose; Tanner Magee and Jerome Zeringue, both R-Houma; and Dee Richard, a Thibodaux independent.
Democratic lawmakers questioned the need for Louisiana’s state House to wade into such a debate in the final days of the legislative session. They suggested the state had more pressing concerns, like its financial problems.
Rep. Patricia Smith, D-Baton Rouge, said the resolution will create fear of Muslims (No, the fear is already here) “I’m very concerned when we begin to put fear of other ethnic groups in the state of Louisiana into the minds of our citizens,” she said.
Resolution supporter Rep. Mike Johnson, R-Bossier, said the statement from the House wasn’t aimed against “people who believe in the Islamic faith,” but was a statement in opposition to terrorism. “All of us here are opposed to terrorism. That’s all this is about,” said Johnson, who is running for Congress.
Before it passed, Rep. Katrina Jackson, D-Monroe, added language to the resolution saying the resolution would “have no effect” until the U.S. Justice Department determines that the organization has supported terrorist activity. (Coming soon)
Recently, images of Canadian police cruisers with Arabic lettering on their sides began circulating on Facebook, alongside claims that the photographs were evidence of ‘Sharia police’ slowily infesting Canada.
CBCWhile Americans were among those objecting to the images, Canadians also took umbrage to what was widely perceived as a new and unwelcome addition to police cars in the province of Ontario.
Slapping the Arabic word for police onto London patrol cars has sparked an online uproar involving thousands of social media posts. In the latest string of racially (What ‘race’ is Islam?) charged incidents in the southern Ontario city, photos of the Arabic decal were posted on Facebook May 30 by a man from Quebec.
Many outraged Facebook users described the photographs as evidence of the “beginning” or “start” of something larger and disruptive to Canadian culture: His comments include the statement: “So it starts. The little toes in the door already.” He also asks the question: “Why is this acceptable?”
The post has already been shared nearly 12,000 times with several people adding similar ‘xenophobic’ opinions. Those posts have led to dozens of calls to London police with people asking to have them removed.
“We have received a number of emails, a number of inquiries, a number of phone calls,” said Const. Sandasha Bough. “It was a means of being inclusive of the diverse members within the city of London,” she told CBC News.
UCLA student editor discovers that the shooter’s religion on his Twitter profile was changed – from Islam to Hindu – within hours of the campus shooting, which killed a UCLA professor as well as an ex-girlfriend in Minnesotastan.
This is the “white male” UCLA shooter Mainak Sarkar that the media has been telling us about for the last 24 hours. Unfortunately, none of what the media is telling us is true.
RedStateWatcher via Conservative Tribune (h/t Larry A)The perpetrator of the terrible crime was almost immediately known to law enforcement and school officials, and if you are wondering why the media didn’t immediately rush to plaster the name and face of the alleged “white shooter” all over the news, it isn’t that hard to figure out why.
It turned out that the “white male” the media intimated was responsible for the murder was actually a decidedly non-white male of Indian or Bengali descent named Mainak Sarkar, according to RedStateWatcher.
Making matters worse for the deceptive media, they seem to have been caught in the act of attempting to cover up both the race and religion of Sarkar in an effort to make his crime fit with a political narrative by editing his Everipedia profile before publicizing his name.
Even still, the apparent attempted cover up continues, as thekiller’s profilenow lists his religion as “Muslim or Hindu (unconfirmed),” leaving just enough wiggle room for politically correct liberals to continue to push their narrative of Islam being a religion of peace filled with Muslims that would never hurt anybody.
This blatant effort at covering up a rather salient piece of information regarding the UCLA killer was nothing short of disgusting, as you and I both know that the same sort of careful courtesy would not have been extended to a shooter of another religion.
In fact, if the shooter really had turned out to be a “white male” and a “Christian,” we would have seen his face plastered on the news non-stop for the past 24 hour.
Instead, a Muslim jihadist killed his white ex-girlfriend in Minnesota, then traveled to UCLA immediately to kill a white professor he had a beef with, then killed himself, with hardly any of that information being reported by the liberal media, as it doesn’t fit their carefully manufactured narrative that Muslims are peaceful and white guys suck.
